Twenty-eight high school students from seven countries in the Near East-North Africa (NENA) GLOBE region and 12 locations in North America participated in the second Ocean for Life field study from 14 - 26 July 2011, aimed at increasing cultural understanding through ocean science.  >>

At Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, Connecticut, students have the opportunity to participate in a four-year science research program in conjunction with their regular science course load. Under the tutelage of Science Research Instructor, Ms. Deborah Day, who helped to pioneer the program and shape the current 9-12 grade curriculum, students spend up to four years learning the components of scientific research.  >>

For the last several years, the Friuli Region in north-east Italy has been actively utilizing GLOBE Hydrology Protocols for several monitoring activities along the Mincio and Po Rivers, and along other river tributaries in northern Italy.  >>
