DESERT WALK:

Location: Sakhir (natural Desert Environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain)

DESERT WALK:

This school year a new activity is going to be held in the Desert environment and the effectiveness on the environment, as activities will largely focus on the wildlife in the local Desert in the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as the characteristics of this environment.

The overall Objectives of the effectiveness:

•-Science learning and science doing outside the walls of the school in a natural environment in an unconventional and interesting method.

-Building a team of students.

-Sense of place and maintain it.

-- Increase environmental awareness.

-The proposed location :Sakhir (natural Desert Environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain)

-The proposed time: Thursday, December 14th , 2015 (8:00am - 16:00pm)

- Participants Members of the Science and Environment Centre: about 100 teachers and students from Secondary Level schools members of the GLOBE Program.
