Would it be possible to change the system of grade levels to age? Every country has a different grade system and it can be very confusing to teachers from other countries to have to work with the American system. Age system is the same in every country ;-)

Great suggestion, this is a good one to propose moving past the current website implementation.

Hello Matthijs,

The Grade level delineations within the classic admin page tools provide, perhaps, an alternative:

Primary (Grades K-3, Ages 5-10); Middle (Grades 4-6, Ages 9-13); Upper (Grades 7-9, Ages 12-16); High (Grades 10-13, Ages 15-19); and College/University (Grades 12+, Ages 18+).

What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
To start with myself. I have looked up the delineations of the grade system several times, but keep on forgeting them ;-)
This must especially be true for teachers that are not used to work with the American standards every day and come to the GLOBE website for the first time (or just once in a while). Maybe it could be solved if at every place where the grade is mentioned there is a link to a box with the explanation you provided.
Still, I see GLOBE as an international program so we shouldn't work with an American grade system.
Regards,
Matthijs
