News - filter doesn´t work?

Let´s say someone wants to read News only from the Region Europe and Eurasia. I tried to filter it, but it did not give me the results I would expected.

I searched on http://www.globe.gov/news through "Category":
1) When I choose Location-Europe and Eurasia, it gives me back 2 items that are not specifically connected to the Region.
2) When I choose Regions/Countries - Europe and Eurasia, there are all news displayed so it seems no filtering at all happened.

Then I went to http://www.globe.gov/web/europe-and-eurasia/news and tried the same search:
1) In "Category" selected Regions/Countries - Europe and Eurasia, and again I could see all the news, not the filtered selection
2) Tried also filter "Organization", where I choose Europe and Eurasia. The result shows 1 news, however there should be 4 displayed (= no. of news that RHDO Europe and Eurasia created - I can see them in the Control Panel-CMS News).
