Community Feedback Forum

These message boards are a place for you to let us know about things that you would like to see as the website grows, and a place where you can contact us if you find something on the site that is broken or that does not work as you would expect.

This area of the site is not intended to replace a call to your normal Help Desk representative; it is to give you a place to leave a comment and to see comments from others (to get a sense of what areas of trouble others are having or features that other users are requesting).

We have such a huge community, but it is very hard to see (also on the community page) where the activity is going on on the website.

What I miss is some 2.0 activity on the frontpage and other (community) pages. It is all very static!

I would like to have feeds with:
- x has befriended y
- x has uploaded new data
- y has uploaded a new student report
- z has joined research group a
- b has set up a new research group c
- school z has joined the GLOBE community
- all uploaded pictures
- etc

If you go to your "MyPage" (My Public pages on the drop down on the top)..and select the Collaboration tab, you will see a portlet called "Friends Activities"...This shows all the things your friends are doing (for example I can see you've been uploading pictures to the Netherlands site recently.

Every community (Atmospheres, Partners, etc) also has a Members tab which shows who is in the community and anything they've done recently.

Take a look at http://www.globe.gov/web/atmosphere-climate/members for an example.
