I am the new 8th grade science teacher for Pikeview Middle School in Princeton, WV. I have spoken with some of my fellow teachers that I will be working with and we plan to build a cross curricular unit centered upon the Solar Eclipse and encompassing all content areas. As of now, I cannot state definately what our plans will be for this event. I can state that we have 175 Eighth Graders and that we begin school August 7th. It is a short amount of time to build a cross curricular unit but I full faith in the unit and event that spring forth from our collaborations.
