Aerosols in Europe: the first international workshop for teachers

The workshop took place from September 16 - 19 in Nove mesto na Morave, Czech republic. The main goal of the workshop was to learn all about how and why to do aerosol measurements. Two Norwegian scientists Marianne Lund and Bjørn Samset from research center CICERO gave excellent lectures about aerosols and climate change.

The second goal of the workshop was to let the schools get to know each other and make plans for the future collaboration.

The workshop was organized by GLOBE Norway: Karl T. Hetland and coordinated by GLOBE Regional Office.

GLOBE Norway would like to say a big thank to GLOBE Regional Office (Bara, Dana) and GLOBE Czech Republic (Ilona) for their great help in organizing the workshop.

GLOBE Regional Office very much appreciates organization and support of the whole project Aerosols in Europe by Karl T. Hetland.
