GLOBE Games 2016 in the Czech Republic
GLOBE Games are organized by TEREZA Educational Center annually as a part of GLOBE Program in the Czech Republic since 1998. For the GLOBE students, teachers and country coordinators it is a unique opportunity to meet face to face, gain new experience and knowledge, initiate school to school collaborations and take part in special environmental challenges. Ukrainian student phenology campaign
GLOBE Ukraine announces a second student phenology campaign. The aim of the campaign is to engage students in investigation of the vegetation cycles of wild cherry (Prunus cerasus) and Nanking cherry (Prunus tomentosa). Last year more than 600 students from Ukraine participated observed budburst of cherry species and entered data to the GLOBE website. This year we invite students and teachers from other European GLOBE schools to participate in the campaign.  >>

GLOBE is hosting a new data entry challenge from 11-17 October 2015! Data collection is at the heart of The GLOBE Program – and it takes a world to contribute the scientific and environmental measurements that help GLOBE fulfill its vision of a worldwide community of students, teachers, scientists, and citizens working together to better understand, sustain, and improve Earth's environment at local, regional, and global scales. Soil Moisture Measurement Campaign
To support the SMAP satellite mission, NASA has initiated a 7-month-long Soil Moisture Measurement Campaign and invites GLOBE schools to participate. The SMAP Campaign begins 1 October 2015 and will be ongoing through 30 April 2016.  >>

2015 Kilimanjaro Learning Xpedition
Since 2008, an international team of GLOBE scientists, teachers and students have been trekking to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to evaluate the evolving ecosystem of the largest freestanding mountain in the world. The 2015 Mt. Kilimanjaro Xpedition begins on 24 September.  >>

53 participants from 6 countries from all over the Europe got together at first international workshop about aerosols. International workshop for teachers was organized as a part of new project „Aerosols in Europe” initiated by GLOBE Norway.  >>
