We’ve completed this year’s green-down observations. Just like last year, we followed the same two trees: a linden and a cherry tree.When comparing the results, the linden behaved almost exactly the same as last year — in both years the last leaf fell on October 28. The cherry tree, however, showed a noticeable delay. Last year its final leaf fell on October 28, but this year it didn’t fall until November 17, almost three weeks later.Attached are this year’s photos and graphs.
