Hello from Malta.

Here is an update. Most budburst of the two African Tamarisk trees being followed this year, happened up to the third week of February. Many other buds were bursting open on the same tree during these weeks!

Observations of this tree at Xrobb l-Għaġin Nature Park must start as early as possible in January and followed closely throughout February because it's the month when the African Tamarisk is most actively bursting with new life!

We are interested to collaborate with countries wishing to follow this species!
Esther.
