Teachers and students will investigate the health of their local river using GLOBE Hydrosphere protocols (water temperature and water pH) along with making visual observations and measuring nutrient pollution.

To take part in this GLOBE citizen science project, you must first complete the short 15-20min Teacher Surface Temperature and Clouds Observation Training. See here.

After reviewing the GLOBE Surface Temperature Observation Teacher Training PowerPoint, please answer the questions below.

Once completed, we will mark your GLOBE Teacher Account as 'trained' in the precipitation protocol. You will then be eligible to receive your equipment package and upload data to the GLOBE Database
