Se realizó el Taller de Introducción al Programa GLOBE en Guatemala
Los días 5, 6 y 7 de septiembre se llevó a cabo el tramo presencial del Taller de Introducción al Programa GLOBE en la ciudad de Guatemala. Este evento se realizó como parte de la estrategia de la RCO para fortalecer las relaciones con dicho país, con el apoyo de la Embajada de Estados Unidos, que proporcionó las instalaciones del Centro Guatemalteco-Americano, donde se llevó a cabo el taller. En la ceremonia de inauguración, se dirigieron palabras de bienvenida por parte de la responsable de Asuntos Culturales de la Embajada y la Viceministra de Educación. Además, el evento contó con la presencia de Mariana Savino, Coordinadora de la RCO, y fue dirigido por Andrea Ventoso, Mentor Trainer y Coordinadora de Uruguay.

En el Taller participaron 25 maestros de la Ciudad de Panamá. Y fueron dados los siguientes temas:
- Protocolos de Atmósfera y Biósfera
- Presentación de Camapaña de Arboles
- Presentación de actividades de aprendizaje
- Sistema de carga
- Visualización de datos.

El taller presencial marcó la segunda fase, que concluye el ciclo iniciado con las sesiones virtuales el 24 y 30 de agosto, en las que participaron 100 maestros. Este evento se llevó a cabo en el contexto de otros talleres realizados en Belice y programados en México, como parte de la estrategia de la RCO para expandir GLOBE en la región.
The in-person segment of the Introduction to the GLOBE Program Workshop took place on September 5th, 6th, and 7th in the city of Guatemala. This event was conducted as part of the RCO's strategy to strengthen relations with the country, with the support of the United States Embassy, which provided the facilities of the Guatemalan-American Center where the workshop was held. The opening ceremony featured welcoming remarks from the Embassy's Cultural Affairs Officer and the Deputy Minister of Education. Additionally, Mariana Savino, RCO Coordinator, was in attendance, and the workshop was led by Andrea Ventoso, Mentor Trainer and Coordinator from Uruguay.

The workshop was attended by 25 teachers from Panama City, and the following topics were covered:
- Atmosphere and Biosphere Protocols
- Tree Campaign Presentation
- Learning Activities Presentation
- Data Entry System
- Data Visualization.

The in-person workshop marked the second phase, concluding the cycle initiated with the virtual sessions on August 24th and 30th, which had 100 teachers participating. This event took place in the context of other workshops conducted in Belize and scheduled in Mexico as part of RCO's strategy to expand GLOBE in the region.
