GLOBE and Baltic Sea Project conference in Lithuania
This weekend, the GLOBE and Baltic Sea Project conference took place in Vilnius. This year, after learning the lessons of the quarantine, the conference was held in a hybrid way for the first time. When such an opportunity arose, for the first time we were happy with conference participants and guests representing six countries. After finishing the official part, the students and teachers visited VU Geology Museum. where learnt about meteorites, lava, the densest and heaviest museum exhibit, and various remains of mammoths.  >>

Croatian GLOBE Games
The 25th Croatian GLOBE Games were organized in ÄŒakovec and in the tourist resort Sveti Martin na Muri on 10-12 May. In all, 120 participants were from the 39 most active GLOBE schools, each represented by a team of three students and their teacher.  >>

Do you know that trees can tell stories? Tree Reporters Challenge
During the period from October 22 to November 19 students coming from 8 GLOBE countries took role of the GLOBE Program Tree reporters and interviewed trees in their neighborhood. Come see and hear what amazing stories they have learned from the trees.  >>

November 26 the remote Baltic Sea Project and GLOBE annual students scientific conference took place! We are happy and proud of the project participants, who are preparing really good works even in these difficult times, and we thank the teachers who are educating a truly wonderful generation of naturalists!  >>

The new school year with the GLOBE Program in Israel
On November 4, 2021, a conference was held to begin the activities of the GLOBE Program for the coming school year. More than 100 participants joined the event - teachers, school principals, supervisors and principals from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, representatives from the United States Embassy, and representatives from the GLOBE Program Europe and Eurasia.  >>

2021 Virtual Meeting of the Europe and Eurasia GLOBE Community
The spirit of collaboration and friendship was expressed continuously during the 2021 Europe and Eurasia GLOBE community virtual meeting. Altogether, 240 participants attended the sessions in the week of 04-08 October, representing twenty-nine countries from the region.  >>

GLOBE and Baltic sea project camp in Lithuania 2021
The Baltic Sea Project and GLOBE program camp took place last week. Participants from international projects, gathered in a camp in Klaipeda from all over Lithuania to get to know the nature of the Lithuanian seaside and each other better. During the three-day camp, there was no shortage of various outdoor education activities.  >>
