Please join us as we begin the new calendar year with a revisit to the Miyawaki Forests from our 5 December 2023 webinar. Our own Peder Nelson will discuss how NASA and GLOBE data can help in tracking Miyawaki Forests through biomass and carbon sequestration calculations. Following this featured presentation, we will then focus on several things during the webinar, including the Year of Open Science (including Open Science 101) and the needs of campaign participants for the upcoming 2024 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS). Please come with any questions and concerns about how our campaign team can assist you with student research for IVSS 2024.
