Tomorrow (25 October): 2019 GLOBE IVSS Informational Webinar
GLOBE is pleased to host the 2019 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS). The IVSS is a way for primary through undergraduate students from all GLOBE countries to showcase their hard work.

GLOBE Partners: Call for Interested GLOBE Exhibitors at 2019 World Scout Jamboree! Submit Activity Plans by 31 October
NASA Glenn Research Center is planning to have an exhibitor tent at the 2019 World Scout Jamboree – and the NASA Office of STEM Engagement is soliciting input from GLOBE partners who may be interested in supporting the event with hands-on activities for students.

GLOBE Mission Mosquito Field Measurement Campaign is On!
The goal of GLOBE Mission Mosquito is to create an organized citizen science community, primarily through formal education with targeted outreach to informal education, that will conduct and report local observations using the GLOBE Observer Mosquito Habitat Mapper.

Earth Science Week: 14-20 October 2018 – Check Out GLOBE Activity in Online Toolkit
This year, the ESW Online Toolkit offers GLOBE’s “Odyssey of the Eyes,” learning activity! In this activity students are encouraged to think creatively to become familiar with spacial concepts of location, distance, direction, and scale – and are introduced to various scales of remotely sensed data.

Tip of the Week: Did you know that you the international GLOBE network has grown to include representatives from over 121 participating countries and over 129 U.S. Partners coordinating GLOBE activities that are integrated into their local and regional communities? How about the fact that GLOBE students have contributed over 157 million measurements to the GLOBE database for use in their inquiry-based science projects?
