GLOBE Community: GLOBE Materials Available in Multiple Languages – Comprehension Made Easy!
Tip of the Week: Many GLOBE materials have been translated, and are available, in multiple languages. This includes translations of the Teacher’s Guide, Elementary GLOBE, and GLOBE resources.

NOAA’s Adopt a Drifter Program Engages Schools in Ocean Climate Science – Adopt a Drifter Today!
The mission of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA’s) Adopt a Drifter Program (ADP) is to establish scientific partnerships between schools around the world and to engage students in activities and communication about ocean climate science. U.S. Department of State Highlights GLOBE Scientist Helping Citizen Scientists Act as “Agents of Change” in Battle Against Zika
A recent DipNote blog (the official blog of the U.S. Department of State) highlighted a long-time GLOBE Earth Scientist, Russanne (Rusty) Low, and her innovative project to teach citizen scientists to roll down their sleeves and engage in the battle against infectious disease outbreaks – including the current Zika outbreak – with the help of the GLOBE Observer App.

GLOBE Observer App Enhancements Now Available – Observations Made Easy!
Tip of the Week: The GLOBE Observer app is now enhanced with a number of new features and fixes. A recent update fixed several bugs, and reduced the download size of the app by approximately 50 percent. Additions included an "Opt-in" feature, new information links, an instruction graphic, and links that take users directly to the GLOBE Observer website and social media accounts.
