11 September - Webinar 2 in our new series: Aligning the GLOBE Program with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) Science and Education team is hosting a series of webinars related to the new U.S. K-12 science standards known as Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The second webinar in the series will address NGSS and applications in the classroom.

The 17th GLOBE Annual Partner Meeting will be held in Maryland, USA from 12-16 August 2013. GLOBE protocol training sessions will be held at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

July 11- Website Training Session for Partners and Country Coordinators
On July 11, GLOBE Program Office Technology Manager Jon Lang, along with the GLOBE Community Support Team, will host another hour-long training session in order to ensure that you know how to use the latest website features, including simplified Partner and Country Coordinator administrative tools.

GLOBE Virtual Student Conference
The conference seeks to engage students in a careful examination of their own research for presentation and to develop content and communication skills in the process. Students will find the online venue to be a uniquely engaging means of having a conversation about their research with other students around the world.

Earth Science Week
Since October 1998, the American Geological Institute has organized this national and international event to help the public gain a better understanding and appreciation for the Earth Sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth. This year's Earth Science Week will be held from October 14-20 and will celebrate the theme "Our Ever-Changing Earth."
