Students Invited to Present Inquiry-based Research Projects at the SATELLITES Conference in Perrysburg, Ohio
Register to participate in the SATELLITES Conference by 1 April 2015. Area students in grades K-12 along with university students will present projects that were developed using their own inquiry-based research using geospatial technologies.

NASA Launches Groundbreaking SMAP Observatory!
NASA successfully launched the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) observatory on 31 January at 9:22 EST (14:22 UTC). SMAP is the first Earth satellite designed to collect global observations of the vital soil moisture hidden just beneath our feet.

SMAP Scheduled to Launch 29 January!
