Workshop: GLOBE on the River, South Dakota, United States

One day in class to learn how to use GLOBE with your class, three in field doing GLOBE protocols. We will be kayaking and primitive camping. The class is outfitted so only personal gear and a sense of adventure is required. This will be a cross curricular workshop. We'll be looking at Big Topics like Earth Systems, Land Ethic, and climate while we are in the field. The classroom portion will be in Pierre. We will depart Sat AM from Pierre to explore the Belle Fourche and Cheyenne Rivers (depending on flows) A $50 deposit is required. Information on deposit will be sent after GLOBE registration received.
