18 July - First Webinar in the New Series: Aligning the GLOBE Program with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) Science and Education team will host a series of webinars related to the new U.S. K-12 science standards known as Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The first webinar in the series, on 18 July, will provide a basic introduction to NGSS and begin the conversation about how GLOBE fits with the standards. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about NGSS and GLOBE.

July 11- Website Training Session for Partners and Country Coordinators
On July 11, GLOBE Program Office Technology Manager Jon Lang, along with the GLOBE Community Support Team, will host another hour-long training session in order to ensure that you know how to use the latest website features, including simplified Partner and Country Coordinator administrative tools.

International INESPO Sustainability Olympiad
The 5th INESPO Sustainability Olympiad will take place from June 2 - 7, 2013 in the Netherlands. All students (age 13-18) are welcome to present their solutions to sustainability problems. The Olympiad is organized by several partners including GLOBE Netherlands
