Workshop: GLOBE on the River, South Dakota, United States
One day in class to learn how to use GLOBE with your class, three in field doing GLOBE protocols. We will be kayaking and primitive camping. The class is outfitted so only personal gear and a sense of adventure is required. This will be a cross curricular workshop. We'll be looking at Big Topics like Earth Systems, Land Ethic, and climate while we are in the field. The classroom portion will be in Pierre. We will depart Sat AM from Pierre to explore the Belle Fourche and Cheyenne Rivers (depending on flows) A $50 deposit is required. Information on deposit will be sent after GLOBE registration received.  >>

IV GLOBE Training Workshop - Initial Level in Uruguay
The IV GLOBE Training Workshop is is organized by the National Directorate of Environment through Lic. Andrea Ventoso, the National Coordinator of GLOBE in Uruguay. About 30 teachers will take part of this training as is part of Uruguay's celebration of GLOBE's 20th Anniversary year.  >>

The webinar, "Getting and Analyzing Precipitation Data," will take place on Wednesday, 18 March 2015. This webinar is for teachers, and covers how to use the GLOBE Visualization System, how to get satellite data from My NASA Data and Giovanni, and how to find other sources for ground data, as well as tips for helping students do analyses.  >>
