GLOBE Working Groups in Science, Education, Evaluation, Technology will meet prior to the 19th GLOBE Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, on 19 July 2015.  >>

IMPACT (IMPacting Achievement with Collaborations and Technology) Workshop June 17-18, 2015 8am-5pm CDT. Participants will have the opportunity to: * Collaborate with your colleagues from across Iowa. * Participate in a WebQuest as you explore the possibilities of Inquiry. * Receive training in Earth science activities from STORM & the GLOBE Program to demonstrate Inquiry skills. * Workshop concepts may be incorporated into the teaching of any science lesson. * Practice using science as an integrating context. * Ideal opportunity for collaboration between teachers of multiple subjects. * Explore technology integration in an Inquiry setting. * The workshop complements Iowa's Every Learner Inquires Initiative and the Iowa Core Curriculum. The two day Science Inquiry workshop is free and will result in a potential of $200 stipend per participating teacher/administrator. Applications are now being accepted for participation in the 2015 IMPACT Science Inquiry workshop. GLOBE Europe and Eurasia announces the 20215 GLOBE Games, an annual tradition for students, teachers, scientist, alumni and friends of GLOBE community, this year in Prague from 28th to 31st May 2015  >>

The IV GLOBE Training Workshop is is organized by the National Directorate of Environment through Lic. Andrea Ventoso, the National Coordinator of GLOBE in Uruguay. About 30 teachers will take part of this training as is part of Uruguay's celebration of GLOBE's 20th Anniversary year.  >>

Webinar 4, GISN Stories: 20 years of GLOBE Research and Education Outreach (GISN Panel Presentation, will be presented on 23 April at 11 a.m. (5 p.m. UTC).  >>

Webinar 3, Role Model Training, will be presented on 19 March at 11 a.m. (5 p.m. UTC). GLOBE's Dr. Julie Malmberg will share role model training materials for outreach in K-12 settings, ranging from SciGirls, Tech Bridge, and GLOBE materials  >>

The webinar, "Getting and Analyzing Precipitation Data," will take place on Wednesday, 18 March 2015. This webinar is for teachers, and covers how to use the GLOBE Visualization System, how to get satellite data from My NASA Data and Giovanni, and how to find other sources for ground data, as well as tips for helping students do analyses.  >>

GLOBE Camp will take place from the 17 -19 March 2015 in Oman, in the Governate of Muscat, Yeti Beach. More than 120 students are expected to participate.  >>
