GLOBE Trees Aplication

Are you working with the Trees application? Is your application doing well? My tree height over 10 m is calculated as less than 2m! I have spoken to Croatian GLOBE teachers with the same problem.

What do we do?
Do you increase/zoom the tree when you measure it?

Please help!

Hmmm. Are you making sure that you are always keeping your mobile device at eye level, without raising your hands and arms when aligning to the base and top of the trees? If so, I am wondering of there might be an issue with the feet/meters conversion in the app.

You can ignore my email - we found the issue and have patched it.  Close the app and re-launch it - it should ask if you want to do an update - say yes - and the fix should be there. For anyone else collecting data in the metric system, there was a display error, but it did not affect your data collected - so data sent to GLOBE was/has been accurate, but the review page had a bug.

Let us know if you've got the update and the numbers are looking better...
