North America Regional Meeting 2024: New Jersey

The GLOBE Program's North America Regional Meeting (NARM) in March 2024 will feature hands-on activities applicable to Satellite Imagery and Remote Sensing in the GLOBE Program. It will include an opportunity for participants to make and keep their own satellite antenna. There is no registration fee for this event.

This NARM will be hosted by the Institute for Earth Observations, which is a STEM educational initiative for students and teachers that studies the Earth. Creating their in-house technology A3Sat, the team has worked closely with GLOBE, NASA, U.S. Naval Academy and recently Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

NARM attendees will visit the Institute for Earth Observations at Palmyra Cove, an informal research center and 250-acre urban oasis along the Delaware River. The Environmental STEM Center uses open sources to visualize Earth observing data, making it the perfect place to connect traditional environmental science with the STEM development of today, investigating the Earth from Space.
