Join us at this week's Watercooler to learn more about the Forest Service and GLOBE Soil Tent! The Soil Tent is a traveling educational exhibit which evokes the striking visual experience of entering into the earth with its layers and creatures on display. The tent comes with a series of hands-on science activities to deepen students' curiosity about and understanding of the soil. Haley Wicklein, GLOBE Partner at the Leitzel Center at the University of New Hampshire, will be discussing the project along with UNH soils graduate students Joy O'Brien and Nate Blais. They will talk about the development of the tent, and their experience bringing it out to local schools.
