Workshop: New Orleans Bootcamp with Xavier University of Louisiana, United States
This is an intensive five-day GLOBE Partnership Train-the-Trainer with a focus on implementing GLOBE within highly diverse communities or within schools and informal learning programs that serve traditionally under-served and underrepresented populations in the STEM disciplines, including women, minorities, and persons with disabilities. The workshop is funded by an NSF grant with travel, accommodation and meals covered for 15 participants. If you need help identifying child care resources, please contact the hotel directly. New GLOBE partners (those who have joined in the last 3 years and have not received a full five-day training) can register two participants. Other GLOBE partners can register one participant. This Bootcamp is for United States Partners. There will be time during the workshop for networking and discussing possible collaborations. Once the selection committee has selected the participants, participants will be sent the travel information worksheet to complete and return. Application Deadline: September 15th, 2017 (We will take applications up until this date) Selection by: October 2nd, 2017. Workshop begins November 6th and ends on November 10th at noon.   NOTE: The workshop says it's full, but we are still taking applications. We welcome your application!  >>
