Participate in the Year of Climate and Carbon Campaign!
The GLOBE Program and the GLOBE Implementation Office is dedicated to supporting climate investigations at local and global scales. The Year of Climate and Carbon (YCC) Campaign aims to build awareness around climate-related campaigns and IOPs taking place in the different GLOBE regions, while also encouraging the GLOBE community to better understand climate and carbon on local scales. The YCC Campaign encourages GLOBE students to take action and explore changes in their local ecosystems, specifically through collecting phenology, biomass, and other data using GLOBE protocols and resources.
GISN members are also encouraged to promote the YCC campaign within their networks. There may also be opportunities for GISN members to serve as potential subject matter experts for future YCC webinars and events. If you are interested, please contact Grace Crain-Wright directly at gcrain@ucar.edu.
