Great Global Investigation of Climate - Currently Underway
Enjoy going outdoors from 1-31 March to take your temperature and precipitation measurements and enter them in the GLOBE database. Collecting data throughout the year helps build a GLOBE database that allows students and other climate scientists to observe seasonal changes that vary across latitude and continents.  >>

GLOBE Video Competition - Deadline Extended
The GLOBE Program is challenging GLOBE schools from around the world to share their climate explorations and research through video. We are pleased to give more time for the submission of entries due to an overwhelming response from the GLOBE community that we extend the deadline. The new deadline is 31 March.  >>

Get your camera out and hit record ... Entries for the GLOBE Earth Day video competition will be accepted from 15 February to 15 March 2012. The video contest is a creative way for students to showcase how they are exploring and investigating their local climate using GLOBE protocols and learning activities. The next Great Global Investigation of Climate (GGIC) Intensive Observing Period (IOP) will take place 1–31 March 2012. Students collect and enter temperature and precipitation data in the GLOBE database and investigate how to classify local weather and climate using this atmospheric data. Beta Testers Wanted

The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) staff is reviewing entries and will announce five winners in our March e-newsletter.
