Workshop: Sound of Sea, Trinity Episcopal Center, United States

The Sound of the Sea (SOS) staff is introduced to GLOBE using the Earth As a System Activity. SOS staff is trained in hydrology protocols: water transparency, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, ph, macroinvertebrates, and salinity for their work with middle grade students and as a GLOBE site. SOS staff participates in GLOBE learning activities including the water walk, model a catchment basin, and ph game. SOS staff will also navigate the GLOBE website and will be shown how to use the GLOBE visualization site to view 10 years of data collected.
