August Tech Update
There have been many changes for the GLOBE website and app in the last two months. If you look under “Training” and you’ll see a new tutorial section. And be sure to check out your customized Roadmap – a step by step guide to take you through things you can do in the GLOBE environment.
The GLOBE Observer app was modified to include all the Biosphere protocols for all fully trained GLOBE Educators and student accounts. You can now use GLOBE Observer for Atmosphere, Biosphere and Hydrosphere.
During August, the Data and Information Systems (DIS) team will be working on the new Eclipse app in preparation for the upcoming solar eclipse in October, and new “mega-menus” – to help better navigate the website and improve the overall site structure.
A full environment upgrade will also be occurring in August which may cause some downtime in late August – more on that as we get closer to the planned date.
