Branch Out with Artemis Moon Trees!
NASA’s Next Gen STEM project in partnership with USDA Forest Service is excited to kick-off the upcoming school year with a unique opportunity. Nearly 2000 tree seeds travelled to the Moon and back to Earth aboard the Artemis I, Orion space capsule! Education and community organizations are invited to attend an information session on 17 August 2023 to learn how to apply for an Artemis Moon Tree Seedling through NASA’s Artifacts Module Program. Additionally, as an educator, you’ll have the chance to create interactive lessons around your Moon Tree through our Moon Tree STEM Tool Kit or implement your own STEM curriculum.

Applicants must be located geographically within the contiguous United States (international applicants will not be eligible to apply for an Artemis Moon Tree seedling through the Artifacts Module).
