GLOBE Style Guide Update

The GLOBE Style Guide has undergone a recent update to become a more user-friendly, AP-style guideline for best practices relevant to GLOBE.gov users. The GLOBE Program bases its web content style guidelines on the Associated Press (AP) Stylebook, with a few specific exceptions to ensure web content is easy for GLOBE users to both create and digest.

Notable changes include:

• Restructured Table of Contents that groups similar guidelines together
• Guidelines on writing in plain language to assist those with translators or assistive technology
• Guidelines on formatting links and acronym use
