The GLOBE Program would like to introduce a 2022 Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker Africa Flores-Anderson. Originally from Guatemala, Africa is a Research Scientist at the Earth System Science Center in the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), and a PhD student at the Department of Natural Resource Sciences, McGill University (Montreal, Quebec, Canada), and part of the Cardille Lab at McGill University.  >>

Registration for the 2022 GLOBE Annual Meeting, which will be held virtually from 25-28 July, is open! The theme of the meeting is “Communicating GLOBE in Changing Times.” Early-bird registration has been extended through 24 June!  >>

The current (2022-2023) cohort of GLOBE Student Vloggers (GSVs) met this past month to receive their next assignment: Instagram Stories! They will begin adding their exciting new story content on The GLOBE Program’s Instagram in July!  >>

U.S. Middle/High School Educators: The ENGAGE (Earth, NASA, GLOBE and Guided Explorations) GLOBE Mission Earth program is providing an opportunity for you to participate in a year-long program to explore ways to help your students improve their observation and science writing skills using The GLOBE Program.  >>

The GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO), including the Community Support Team, will be closed Monday, 20 June, to celebrate “Juneteenth,” a U.S. holiday. (This year, Juneteenth, 19 June, takes place on a Sunday; however, the federal holiday takes place on Monday.)  >>
