U.S. Teachers: Apply for Teacher Travel Grant to Attend 2019 AMS Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona (06-10 January) By 12 October!
Thanks to a newly established Teacher Travel Grant Program, funding is being provided to U.S. teachers (K-12) who wish to participate in the 99th American Meteorological Society (AMS) Meeting, which will take place 06-10 January 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona. In an effort to increase science literacy, AMS is committed to providing teachers with the opportunity to interact directly with scientists as an attendee at the meeting.  >>

GLOBE Teachers: Join the "Local Lake Challenge" 02-08 October
GLOBE Teachers: GLOBE would like to invite you and your students to particpate in an international hydrology data-collection event that will take place from 02-08 October. In conjunction with the GLOBE expedition to Lake Victoria in Africa and Pokhara Lake in Nepal, you can take your students on a scientific journey to a lake in your area, collect data, and then enter the data into the GLOBE website – for eventual comparison with similar data taken around the world.  >>
