U.S. GLOBE Teachers: National Environmental Education Week 2022 and Beyond
Instead of packing all of the educational resources and events into a handful of days in late April, NEEF has decided to expand their EE offerings throughout the year. This means that they can share more high-quality materials and align EE offerings with a traditional school year schedule—making it more intuitive for educators to incorporate environmental education into their lesson plans.

GISN Accepts Early Career STEM Professionals – Paying it Forward Made Easy!
Tip of the Week: The GLOBE International STEM Network (GISN) is seeking early career STEM professionals. This GISN subgroup consists of members who are upper-level undergraduate or master's students pursuing a degree in a STEM field, as well as recent graduates who are working in STEM fields who have less than five years’ experience.

U.S. GLOBE Teachers and Partners: Join the Watercoolers in April. Watercoolers are held most Thursdays, at 04:10 p.m. EST. They provide an informal opportunity to connect with other GLOBE teachers and partners to share ideas. Each week begins with a presentation from a teacher or partner, with time for questions and conversation following.

Join the GLOBE Earth Day 2022 Air Temperature Data Challenge: Collect (25 March); Visualize (28 March); and Connect with GLOBE Community
Earth Day is 22 April 2022 and this year marks the 27th Anniversary of The GLOBE Program! To celebrate Earth Day 2022, the GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) is inviting GLOBE students to participate in our global Air Temperature Data Challenge. The challenge encompasses a series of activities that will give students the opportunity to engage in the scientific process.

Today (22 March) is World Water Day! Read Recent Blog “Let’s Look Together: ‘Groundwater – Making the Invisible, Visible’ with GLOBE”
Tomorrow, 22 March, is World Water Day. It is an annual United Nations Observance, started in 1993, that celebrates water and raises awareness of the two billion people currently living without access to safe water. A core focus of World Water Day is to inspire action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Water and sanitation for All by 2030.

2022 GLOBE Annual Meeting (Virtual) Call for Presentations – Applications Due 31 March
Presentation applications are now being accepted for the 2022 GLOBE Annual Meeting, which will take place, virtually, from 25-28 July. Applications are due by Thursday, 31 March. (NOTE: All presenters are required to be registered for the meeting. Registration for the meeting will begin on 16 April.)

U.S. GLOBE Students: NASA Spotlite Video Challenge: Cloud Detectives – Winter/Spring Registration Open; Videos Due 25 March
GLOBE Students: NASA wants student content producers to produce a video for the NASA eClips™ website. The Winter/Spring registration is open; videos must be submitted by 25 March. (Summer deadline is 31 July).
