I work as a representative of Region Coordination Office for GLOBE Europe and Eurasia since July 2012.

My involvement with GLOBE Program began in 1995 when I was invited to participate in the first international GLOBE training workshop in Prague, Czech Republic. I met fantastic people – trainers, scientists and incoming country coordinators there. Then GLOBE was something very new for me and the GLOBE program became part of my live for many years until today.

I served as assistant country coordinator (1995 – 1998) and later as country coordinator (1999 – 2012) in the Czech Republic worked in TEREZA Educational Center, nongovernmental organization for environmental education.

As a country coordinator in the Czech Republic I prefer working with GLOBE teachers as a trainer, consultant or organizer of international cooperation GLOBE projects and activities. I was involved in the formation of the first concept of GLOBE Games in the Czech Republic in 1996 and together with my colleagues from TEREZA and GLOBE schools organized this event many times including European GLOBE Games in the Czech Republic in 2005 when more than 400 students and teachers from 13 countries came to join this special GLOBE event.

Since 2008 I cooperated on projects dedicated to Inquiry Based Science Education.

I consider GLOBE as the unique program where students, teachers, scientists, alumni, coordinators can cooperate and work together on the common topic dedicated to better understand, sustain and improve Earth´s environment. GLOBE provides excellent condition for cooperation.
