My name is Dennis Joel, Current  Assistant Country Coordinator for Schools and Colleges in Tanzania. I joined Globe Program in 2003. My first  training was at Southern Oklahoma State University in Durant Oklahoma in the United States of America. I would like to thank Dr. Margreth who conducted that training, she inspired me to like and love Globe Program.  I would also like to thank Dr. Becca who was in charge of Globe Program International, who advised me on how to work with the embassy as part of State Department. Since that time I have been active working with Globe Program.

Other trainings are.

 Globe Program has enriched me with lots of experiences from researchers, students, teachers, and scientists around the world. Collaboration from Partners and different schools worldwide has helped students to learn new things and learn from different Globe schools around the world.

One of my responsibilities is to fulfill Globe Program mission and vision in schools and colleges in Tanzania. To increase awareness of individuals throughout the world about the global environment, contribute to increased scientific understanding of the Earth and support improved students in science and mathematics.

I would like to thank NASA for its resourceful materials which our students use, I would like to thank Globe Program International for its support, I would like to thank State Department through US Embassy in Tanzania. Efforts shown by all these entities has been so helpful for Globe Program around the world.

I am eager to work with all Globe Program Partners and well-wishers around the world.
