On 5–7 May, over 34 participants, including 12 country coordinators, assistant country coordinators, scientists, and Working Group members from 12 Asia and Pacific countries, joined the virtual 2025 Asia and Pacific Regional Meeting. Under the theme “Global Impact: Advancing Earth System Science and STEM Education,” participants engaged in 3 days of interactive sessions designed to share progress, build capacity, and co create a roadmap for the next year.  >>

On 16 May, a large and rare dust storm swept across Indiana and Illinois. Visibility in the hardest hit areas were near zero during the storm. A volunteer observer in Indiana captured the change in Cloud conditions!  >>

The GLOBE U.S. Student Research Symposium (SRS) went virtual in 2025. From 5 to 9 May, middle and high school students from 21 schools shared their research with their peers and STEM professionals through recorded presentations and facilitated discussions. In all, the GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office received 41 student projects from 114 presenters.  >>

Montenegro started the GLOBE Program in 2024 and has expanded its activities from two to five schools in just one year. The recent National Conference held in April focused on education and sustainable development and highlighted GLOBE’s role in promoting environmental education.  >>
