Uruguay Celebrates 30 Years in GLOBE with Educational Activities and a Visit from the Regional Coordinator
From 7 to 12 April 2025, Mariana Savino, coordinator of the GLOBE Regional Office for Latin America and Caribbean (GLOBE LAC), visited Uruguay to celebrate the country’s 30th anniversary in the GLOBE Program. Uruguay is one of the most active and committed countries in the network within the region, with a long history of participation and educational innovation.

Exploring Water with GLOBE and Murals
Eleven educators and graduate students were trained in GLOBE hydrosphere protocols and learned about the Earth Around Us water tent on 9 April 2025 at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. The New Hampshire GLOBE Partnership, based at the Leitzel Center at the University of New Hampshire, led the workshop.
