We’re celebrating GLOBE turning 30 with a data challenge birthday bash! Shishmaref High School students in Kigiqtaq, Alaska, invite GLOBE students and educators to participate in an air temperature challenge! From 22 April through 6 May, learn about collecting temperature measurements with Adrian and Hailey from the University of Alaska Fairbanks as they introduce the protocol, add water to ice in a beaker, add thermometers, and check the temperature.  >>

The 2025 GLOBE Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting will be held virtually on 5–7 May 2025 (tentatively). This milestone event celebrates 30 years of the GLOBE Program and its impact on environmental science education in the region.  >>

Educators, students, U.S. Partners, scientists, and alumni from the United States are invited to gather and discuss GLOBE student research projects at the Virtual Student Research Symposium (SRS). This event will include presentations of student research and an opportunity to meet and talk with scientists, STEM professionals, and peers.  >>

The GLOBE Africa Regional Meeting for the 27 participating GLOBE Africa countries will be held virtually this year to enable greater participation. The event will include capacity building and skills development.  >>

The goal of the workshop is to facilitate a dialogue between scientists and practitioners using PM2.5 Low-Cost Sensor (LCS) data in their research and the learning science communities utilizing localized networks.  >>
