GLOBE Program-Level Evaluation

The GLOBE Program strives to be an evidence-based program that values ongoing evaluation in order to better understand and serve its community. In 2022, the NASA GLOBE Program Office initiated a set of program-level evaluation activities to better understand GLOBE’s informal and formal K-12 educational programming and reach in the U.S. See below for a Report Brief “GLOBE Informal/Formal K-12 Comprehensive Education – Pre-Evaluation Activities” prepared by an independent evaluation firm, Paragon TEC, that summarizes the findings from this initial phase of evaluation activities. This report points out the many strengths of GLOBE as well as several identified opportunities for further growth. The report is preceded by a letter to the community from the NASA GLOBE Program Manager that provides additional context.
