How videos are scored:
  • 10 pts: Clear demonstration of how participation in GLOBE has led to an improved environment or increased environmental concern
  • 10 pts: Shows students in action
  • 10 pts: Transcript (in native language and English)
  • 5 pts: Audio and video quality
  • 5 pts: Adhering to 2 minute of less time limit
  • 5 pts: Including all contact information

 

Prizes include:

1st place overall: Approximately $75 USD worth of equipment for GLOBE protocols, video highlighted on the GLOBE website and GLOBE social media on Earth Day 2013, certificate

Regional prizes:

  • 1st place  – Approximately $50 USD worth of equipment for GLOBE protocols, video highlighted on the GLOBE website and GLOBE social media prior to Earth Day 2013, certificate
  • 2nd place – Approximately $35 USD worth of equipment for GLOBE protocols, video highlighted on the GLOBE website and GLOBE social media prior to Earth Day 2013, certificate
  • 3rd place – Approximately $25 USD worth of equipment for GLOBE protocols, video highlighted on the GLOBE website and GLOBE social media prior to Earth Day 2013, certificate
