California Strong

California Strong Collaborative

 

                             The California Strong Earth System Science Collaborative (CA Strong) is a group of scientists, researchers, outreach specialists and educators who work together to spread Earth system science initiatives throughout California using the tools and resources of the GLOBE Program.

 

Our team members are:

  • Sarah Marcotte – Solar System Ambassador Director at NASA JPL

  • Peter Falcon – Earth System Science Outreach Coordinator at NASA JPL

  • Gerry Salazar – Administration of LAUSD Outdoor Office of Environmental Education

  • Dr. Matt Ferner – Director of Research and Monitoring Programs at the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve

  • Peggy Foletta – Education Specialist at Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve

  • Svetlana Darche – Senior Research Associate at WestEd.org

  • Nico Janik - Research Associate at WestEd.org

  • Tracy Ostrom – GLOBE Program Coordinator UC Berkeley Department of Chemistry, Atmospheric Sciences
