Observe Like Artemis Challenge

NASA looks at Earth every day from satellites and, most recently, from the moon! If you followed the Artemis II moon flyby mission, you heard the astronauts not just talk about their moon observations but also describe what Earth means to them.

Join the GLOBE Program's Observe Like Artemis Challenge and show us what Earth means to you.

Dates: 22 April 2026 to 22 May 2026

How to Participate

Take GLOBE observations of your favorite features of Earth—whether it’s a cloud, a tree, a local waterway, or soil from a nearby forest—and share them with the community by using the tag #ObserveLikeArtemis.

In May, we’ll share the number of observations submitted for each sphere.
