GLOBE brings together students, teachers, scientists and community members to collaborate on inquiry-based investigations of the environment and the Earth system, and to better understand, sustain, and improve Earth's environment at local, regional, and global scales.
Internationally, GLOBE is implemented through bilateral agreements between the U.S. government and governments of partner nations. Since 1995, over 110 countries have participated in The GLOBE Program.
