TY Climate Resilient School Challenge

What is the TYCRC?

This is a new Transition Year module comprised of 6 lessons and activities, aimed to get students outdoors collecting primary data around topics like land cover, surface temperature and carbon storage. By the end of the module, students will have created a new Climate Resilient School design, featuring nature-based solutions to issues like flooding and the urban heat island effect. At the end of the module, students will present their designs online, getting the chance to develop their presentation and public speaking skills.

Currently, registration is closed for the 2026/27 academic year.

Teacher Training was on September 16th, but you can watch it back on our YouTube channel here: Teacher Training Recording
