Dr. C Honored for 30 years of Impactful Contributions


GLOBE Annual Meeting recognized some GLOBE members from around the world for their contributions to the community and the program for the past 30 years. Among those recognized members is Dr. Kevin Czajkowski from The University of Toledo for his significant contribution and impact on the knowledge across the GLOBE community. His contributions include expanding knowledge of GLOBE protocols, data analysis and Earth System Science.

Dr. C is Principal Investigator of GLOBE Mission Earth The University of Toledo and is the lead scientist and developer of the surface temperature protocol for GLOBE program. Through Dr. C's program, thousands of students in different grades in the U.S. and worldwide upload their surface temperature measurements to a GLOBE database.

Among other recognized member in the annual meeting are Diana Johns, Jessica Taylor, Peggy Foletta, Lynne Hehr and Elena Sparrow. All the awardees played a  significant role in making impacts on youth, local communities.
