Join us as we feature 2026 GLOBE VSS presentations from students and educators from GLOBE schools in Colombia, Italy, and Uruguay. The presentations featured will be:
- "Determining Mangrove Ecosystem Health by Comparing Field and Satellite Data" - Colegio Montessori de Cartagena - Colombia
- "Survey on Trees in Urban Parks in Marcallo" - Istituto Comprensivo Statale "E. DE AMICIS" Macalli con Casone - Italy
- "Comparative Analysis of Carbon Storage in the Trees of a School Property (2024-2025)" Rural School No. 88, "Alfred Nobel" - Uruguay
Following the student presentations, we will have a discussion on how to wrap-up and archive a project so that the data remains in perpetuity for researchers to access for future research. Finishing up the webinar will be a brief discussion on the NASA Moon Tree effort and how this ties into the Apollo-Artemis legacy and the new Artemis II Mission, leading us into our April 2026 campaign webinar in preparation for Earth Day 2026.
