IAS Education Programs is the Iowa Academy of Science's GLOBE school. GLOBE data collected at Iowa Academy of Science public events, school events and teacher workshops is entered into the GLOBE database from IAS Education programs.  Some of our past events include:

• Water Quality data collected by UNI Math & Science Upward Bound High School Students
• Water Quality and Soil data collected by Marcy & Luther College Upward Bound Students during Marcy's residency at the Normal Borloug Heritage Farm.
• Land Cover Data collected by Black Hawk County Girl Scouts and Middle School Students during a county wide MUC-a-Thon
• Land Cover Data collected by GLOBE Teachers during an Advanced GLOBE Training at Backbone State Park.
• GLOBE-at-Night Data Collected by GLOBE teachers during a Teacher's Night out!
