Satellite Student Conference at The University of Toledo
The University of Toledo hosted a satellite student conference on May 15, 2025. Participants involved students from K to college level. The event featured student-led research activities focused on satellite data. A total of 59 projects and 110 students were involved in the project. Students presented their work in a poster session and were awarded the top research projects and peer-choice awards. The conference is part of the GLOBE Mission Earth (GME) program, committed to engaging students for careers in science, technology, and environmental studies, linking satellite data to address the challenges of Earth’s sphere. This effort was led by Dr. Kevin Czajkowski, professor of Geography and Planning and PI of GME.
